Hollywood Records sabotaging Demi for..... Selena?

If you’re a Demi fan and you’ve been on Twitter, you’d know that Lovatics are all fuming with anger because Hollywood Records is sabotaging Demi. Read this twitlonger made by Demi fans & I will explain even more but credit goes to them along with the screenshots I will post.

It’s clear that Demi does not get any promotion especially her fourth studio album, DEMI which has not received any promotion at all, and Stars Dance, Selena’s album, has just been released and it’s been getting all the promotion in the world. Look at HWR’s promotion tweets

They’re acting as if Demi doesn’t even have a second single out.

Not only that, but Stars Dance was able to get streamed for free on iTunes which of course adds to its promotion and that makes it easier for it to chart higher.

And of course thanks to them, there are issues with Demi’s channel

As the twitlonger explains, Made in the USA was supposed to be released before the 4th of July, but no, they pushed it back weeks after when it would have been appropriate to release a patriotic song, on a patriotic holiday. Not only that, but Demi could have definitely got the gig to perform at the Macy’s 4th of July parade but who gets the gig? Selena, who is performing a fucking sex song.

But wait, this may not seem so bad right? Hm, lets look at the bright side, maybe HWR doesn’t mean to treat Demi like dirt. Let me be nice here.

They do mean it. I mean why else would they block radios from playing Made in the USA? Demi doesn’t even know about this considering how she’s tweeting radios to play Made in the USA. Little did she know. What is HWR calling in for?

They’re calling in to play Come & Get It. ^

As you can see above, radios are not eligible to play Made in the USA because HWR is blocking it from being played.

And then here’s the very useless, Chachi and his excuses

There is no plan on Earth that makes it okay for a label to block their artist’s single from playing.

We all know Demi doesn’t have trouble selling. I mean look at Heart Attack that debuted in the top 15 on Billboard, peaking at #10, selling over 215k in its first week, and going #1 on iTunes in 14 hours without promotion at all. The fact that MITUSA isn’t even in the top 100 on iTunes, is because of Hollywood Records (and the part where you can’t even purchase the song without the album).

They’re putting all their focus on Selena when it should be put on the talented one, DEMI. They got mad when Stars Dance leaked YET THEY leaked DEMI for free.

Honestly, Demi needs to leave them right now. Hollywood Records is only good for people like Selena. Demi deserves better. Simon wants to sign her and I guarantee if he does, Demi will be on top of the charts and will have a platinum album because all Demi needs right now, is a good team supporting her career, not leeching on other artists.

I know she can’t leave because of her contract, but if she knows what they’re doing, she’ll have a reason.

The sooner Demi leaves, the better.

Thanks to information from @teamjustinaus, we know now that Jessie McCartney who was also signed with HWR, wants to come back and make more music but he said that he doesn’t thing HWR will allow him to do that because they’re busy. Busy doing what? Promoting Selena and sabotaging Demi.

To furthermore prove my point hat Hollywood Records favors Selena is that they have all her singles certified and you can check RIAA if you don’t believe me. Demi? They only have have three of her singles certified when all of Demi’s songs have sold over 500k. Songs like Don’t Forget are platinum and we don’t even know that because it’s not certified. It’s Hollywood Records job to certify it and they didn’t, YET they certify all of Selena’s songs. That’s not showing favoritism at all.
