This is a review so we are going to focus on the music and the music only. We’re not exposing inside secrets.. for now.

Sorry Not Sorry

Sorry Not Sorry brings a fresh new sound to music because it mixes different elements of pop and soul. You have a choir in chorus and powerful vocals taking over the catchy verses of “BABY I’M SORRY (I’m not sorry).”

It does not have a repetitive chorus yet it’s still catchy and you find yourself singing along and feeling good about yourself.

This song takes self confidence to a whole new level. “I’m out here looking like revenge, feeling like a 10, the best I’ve ever been. And yeah I know how bad it must hurt to see me like this, but it gets worse!”

Wow, did anyone call for a wig snatching? That is personally my favorite verse in the song.

Demi saying “technicolor” deserves a Grammy on its own. Love how she pronounces the word.

Demi is also looking beyond amazing this era. I love the whole sexy and confident vibe I am getting from the video teasers and the lyrics in general.

Overall rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Fetish feat. Gucci Mane

Fetish feat. Gucci Mane brings a different sound to music. It’s a very calm and soothing song.

Selena talks and whispers sultrily during the whole song, but you can’t blame her since she can’t really belt out vocals like her ex-bff, Demi.

The lyrics to the verses sound as if Selena stole a second grader’s poem and added sexual references to it. Unlike the verses, the chorus is refreshing and pretty nice. It’s the best part of the song.

Gucci Mane’s verse is completely irrelevant and easily forgotten. It’s also very short and it feels as if they just added him onto the song so the song can sell more because rappers tend to expose music to a different audience.

The audio to the song was extremely uncomfortable to watch because it consisted of Selena just putting her fingers in her mouth and biting her lips in an effort to seem sexy.

Overall rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
