Ariana Grande's "yes, and?" didn't make people any less mad...
People are not happy with Ariana Grande!
As expected, her new single yes, and? is a direct reply to the home wrecker allegations and I guess the joke did not land.
The Home Wrecker Allegations
One particular lyric that stuck out to everyone is:
your business is yours and mine is mine do you care so much whose ! i ride
She also opens the song up saying,
well, everybody’s tired
and healing from somebody
Yeah… Ethan Slater’s wife, Lily Jay is healing from what yall did to her.
She keeps repeating the line “say that sh– with your chest” and like… people have been saying it with their chest. Lily Jay literally put her on blast.
Another insane lyric is, no i won’t hide underneath your own projections or change my most authentic life
People are mad at her for wrecking a home and she dares to say that’s all a projection and she’s living her most authentic life which is divorcing her husband and getting another dude to divorce his wife, for what? To live an authentic life? Girl be fr.
And sure this would be a slay and everyone would say go off queen, if this was in reply to maybe the media telling her she dates too much like what Taylor Swift went through or people hating on her man for no reason.
But you gotta understand, this is literally her reply to people being pissed off that she came in between a family and ruined a marriage.
In the teaser of the song, she shows a script between 2 people where 1 person says “omg did she really do that” and another replies “well i read it on the internet so it must be true”
The people would have been GAGGED if she wasn’t in the wrong.
You know damn well no one would have had the receipts if it wasn’t for Ethan Slater’s wife calling Ariana out for not being a girl’s girl and confirming every story out there which was that she came in between her and her husband, she held their baby, and then Ethan divorced Lily Jay which shocked her and left her surprised.
So it’s not like people are just assuming she came in between them… Ethan’s wife Lily admits that she did.
Mind you, I did a whole deep dive on Ariana’s past relationships and how she cheated on every one of her partners or get them to cheat on their partners with her aka the inspiration behind breakup with your gf i’m bored.
And for the most part, people don’t know about that because the only credibility those stories had was the timelines overlapping with other relationships. Still, in this case, we have Ethan’s wife speaking out.
The worst part is that I root for Ariana usually mainly because I love a messy celeb… bring me the drama!!!!
Ariana has always been problematic, but aside from that, she is usually WRONG and LOUD.
And this song is the definition of that. I have a hard time seeing this resonate with the general public and being a bandaid to fix her image the way she succeeded when she dropped thank u, next.
Miss Home Wrecker doesn’t just hit back at the home wrecker allegations, but also about all the comments made about her body & face.
Her Appearance
We just spoke about Ariana’s drastic change in appearance and worrying weight, and Miss Ari also hit back about that in yes, and?
She sings:
my face is sitting i don’t need no disguise
don’t comment on my body, do not reply
I would be GAGGED… if again, she wasn’t LOUD & WRONG.
Take public scrutiny & reaction away from the picture… I have it on good authority that her worrying weight and appearance have been brought up to her in her personal life, according to sources.
So when I exposed what I did, I wasn’t just repeating tabloid stories. People in her personal life are worried about her and this scene from the new music video has only worried me more:
There were reports that she had to be edited to look “fuller” and less the way she does look right now and a source even alleged that SHE thinks she’s too fat and she has to shed off more pounds because of the camera… this is worrying behavior.
So to have Ariana write it off as DON’T COMMENT ON MY BODY… sure girlie go off, but at the end of the day, you are a public figure and there is some responsibility you hold for the public. If there will be no truthful explanations, then don’t be shocked when people still speculate. Welcome to the life of the famous.
You can’t be rumored to have gotten 300 plastic surgeries and look like a whole different person every 3 years and STILL expect people to not say anything.
She did a whole makeup routine for VOGUE and claimed that how she used to look was a result of depression, alcohol, and filler to make up for how she looks now and while that is in part truthful, as I exposed before, she was advised to “give a little so they can be happy” and use that excuse as well… the new excuse.
I think Ariana used to get away with her BS many years ago because she was always written off as someone who has been through a lot, and while that is true, I feel like this isn’t going to work this time around. Playing the whole “mind ur business u don’ know me!!!!!” game again, seems to be backfiring again for the reasons I listed throughout this post.
The Song Is Not It
Also, I’m a huge fan of Ariana’s music and this song is really not doing it for me. The intro seems to last longer than Selena Gomez’s social media breaks and the dance track is giving off a rejected Dua Lipa hit.
Maybe it’ll grow on me? I don’t know. What do you guys think about the song and what do you think about Ariana’s latest shenanigans? Do you see this song being another successful #1 hit for her or are people really fed up with her?
I’m excited to see how this year goes for Ariana. Keep in mind that she is anticipated to be an even BIGGER STAR with the release of Wicked and she is being prepped for that so maybe the fame is getting to her head 20x more than usual. She is often surrounded by yes men and I have a feeling we’re going to start seeing that reflected in her work.
