Dark Hollywood: Death in Hollywood
Welcome back to the last installment of our October Dark Hollywood series!
This one is definitely dark.
When it comes to death in Hollywood, I’m not talking about natural deaths or health-related issues. I’m here to talk about planned deaths, hitmen, and warnings.
Let’s talk about planned deaths.
Just like in the movies, when a celebrity who knows too much or gets involved with the wrong people, threatens to overthrow the person in power—whether by exposing information or by literally trying to replace them—planned deaths have always taken place.
Now for the sake of validity and insurance, let’s refer to these planned deaths as conspiracies.
Marilyn Monroe

There’s a really famous theory that the Kennedy brothers killed Marilyn Monroe because she was threatening to expose government information.

Apparently, it got too threatening that the CIA got involved and it was said that it was in the best interest of everyone to just get rid of Marilyn because they couldn’t trust that she wouldn’t eventually expose the information.
One theory states that she was sleeping with JFK’s younger brother, Robert Kennedy, but he got too attached, and he had her murdered to protect his career.
Rock journalist Anthony Scaduto writes in his 1975 book "Who Killed Marilyn Monroe", that Marilyn kept a diary filled with incriminating information she overheard from the Kennedys, and Robert Kennedy had her killed when he found out.
In the book "Victim: The Secret Tapes of Marilyn Monroe," Matthew Smith claims that the CIA knew Monroe and Robert Kennedy were having an affair and killed her to get back at the Kennedy family for the Bay of Pigs invasion disaster.
There are a lot of theories surrounding that, but that’s the gist.

Another theory that I’ve researched intensely and believe to an extent, is that Kurt Cobain was killed as opposed to committing suicide.
There’s a popular theory that Courtney Love, Kurt’s ex-wife, was behind his death.

Now the theory goes that Courtney killed Kurt because he was ready to leave her behind and they didn’t have a prenup so she was bound to get nothing out of the divorce.
People who knew Kurt at that point in his life attest that he was in a phase where he was eagerly talking about getting sober for his daughter who was born shortly before his death.

He was definitely suicidal at many points before in his life, but many people say it wasn’t during that time and his loved ones find it hard to believe that he chose to end his life at a time when he was committed to making the most out of it.
Plus, the gun that he supposedly shot himself with was physically impossible to maneuver because for him to turn it around and shoot himself, the trigger was at the complete other side of the gun…
It’s not like it was a handheld gun.
When the autopsy was completed, he had so much heroin in his body to the point where medically, he shouldn’t have had the strength to physically shoot or lift anything.
Also, he reportedly put his drug kit away and again, being that high on heroin wouldn’t give you the strength or mental focus of putting your drug kit away neatly like he supposedly did.
So that’s the Kurt Cobain death conspiracy in a nutshell. I can elaborate and mention the “practicing someone else’s handwriting” pages found in Courtney’s bag, but maybe we can talk about that at a different time.

I like to look at planned celebrity deaths in 2 categories: being killed for personal interest & being killed out of a threat.
As you can see, Kurt falls under one category while Marilyn falls under another.
Michael Jackson
In the case of Michael Jackson, there were theories that he was going to expose the industry and convert to Islam at a time where American propaganda couldn’t have any sort of positive media about Islam because his death happened after 9/11 and they needed reasons as to why they were invading Iraq, Afghanistan, and so on.
I personally believe that his death was accidental, but who really knows?
So those are some examples of planned celebrity deaths. Obviously, this ties hand in hand with hitmen because who else is killing the celebrity?
Hitmen are 100% a real thing, especially in Hollywood. However, killing people in the industry was more prevalent in Old Hollywood, especially with mafia activities being at an all-time high.
There are a lot of theories about modern day celebrity hitmen or celebrities who have hired hitmen. One theory is about Jay Z. I don’t know much about this nor do I want to, but it’s a really big “rumor” I’ve heard run the town between inside sources.
Now let’s talk about warnings.
One thing that my source told me about celebrity deaths is that sometimes the industry will warn a celebrity to stop whatever they are planning by giving them a taste of how easy it can be for them to rid the world of them… ex: false articles being released that a celebrity died or rumors of a celebrity death being intensified.
It’s come to the point where celebrities will even joke about it and say “yeah I’ve been dead 9 times before.”
I found that extremely scary and it’s a piece of information that never left my mind. I remember being told that information when Cameron Boyce died.
I don’t know anything about Cameron’s death and if he was involved in anything pertaining to sex trafficking as the rumors at the time proposed.
Anything is possible in this sick & twisted industry.
But basically… that’s death in Hollywood in a nutshell.
