Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in deep waters with Spotify and Netflix: Why is Archewell Productions doing absolutely nothing?

It’s been over a year since we’ve last talked about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Spotify and Netflix endeavors. And funny enough, Meghan and Harry haven’t produced anything in that timespan.

In January of last year, I published a post talking about their deal from a money perspective and how they’re supposed to be paid based on what they produce and the return of investment. You should definitely read that post for more information because this post is just going to build onto the already existing information.

That post mainly talks about Netflix, but right now… Meghan and Harry are in deep waters with Spotify.

The Spotify drama and piggybacking off the Joe Rogan scandal

Meghan and Harry signed a huge multi-million-dollar deal with Spotify in December 2020. Yes… that's right, 2020.

The Archewell deal is worth a reported $25 million. Since the announcement, there’s only been one item produced, a December 2020 holiday special, that was 33-minutes in length.

By my calculations… it is February 2022, so it’s been over a year since they signed the Spotify deal, and yet no content has been produced. So why the hell did they get $25 million dollars and what have they been doing in that timespan?

That’s the million dollar question and it’s currently why everyone is mad at them.

I was very detailed in my video about them so watch that afterward if you want more information.

So obviously Spotify is like ????

In 2021, Meghan and Harry were doing a bunch of media appearances. Harry appeared on the Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, then of course there was the explosive Oprah interview, Meghan was on Ellen, they were both frolicking the streets of New York City for other endeavors and they very much gave nothing to Spotify.

So it’s reported that Spotify was not happy and they questioned them about it. But what did Meghan and Harry end up doing?

Hide behind the Joe Rogan scandal and use that as a reason as to why they haven’t produced any content.

At least not explicitly.

Joe Rogan is the host of Spotify’s top podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, and he’s been facing a lot of heat for bringing on guests to promote controversial and potentially harmful ideas about covid-19 and the vaccine. Spotify is facing a lot of pressure as of late due to an open letter from 270 doctors, nurses, professors, and health scientists also raising concerns about pandemic misinformation on the platform and pointing to a recent Joe Rogan episode, where his guest, Dr. Robert Malone, promoted unfounded conspiracy theories.

I’m not here to discuss Joe Rogan so that’s the only relevant piece of information you need in order to digest this Meghan & Harry drama.

So of course… in typical Meghan & Harry fashion… they are piggybacking onto someone’s else scandal and thinking “hmmm how can I utilize this to right my wrongs?”

Because it wouldn’t be Meghan & Harry if they weren’t to appear overly woke and worried about the greater cause… whatever that is.

An Archewell spokesperson released some BS statement about how Meghan & Harry brought up concerns to Spotify back in April 2021 about the “misinformation” going on on that platform.

But unlike the celebrities who were genuinely upset with Spotify, Meghan & Harry did NOT pull out from their Spotify deal. The Archewell spokesperson said that they are “committed to continuing” their work with the platform.

Continuing what work?

So I’m going to say what we’re all thinking — it’s all a money grab. If Meghan and Harry were genuinely all for the podcasting life and wanted to badly help the general public like their Archewell motto states, they would have been produced podcasts.

Misinformation about covid was at an all-time high back in 2020 but that didn’t stop them from signing on with Spotify.

What annoys me the most is the fact that they’re hiding behind the Joe Rogan scandal. They brought their concerns public when everyone was like, “yo clowns, where are the podcasts?? You didn’t get paid $25 million to do nothing!”

I don’t even believe that they brought up an important concern to Spotify in April, and even if valid concerns were brought up, why was no action followed through? From April until now is a crazy amount of months and yet again… no podcasts were produced.

Aside from putting out NO content, they are also doing no work

It’s one thing to put out no content, but it’s another thing to have a whole production company and also have that company do nothing.

In my new video that’s going up the same time that you’re reading this post, I went into detail about Archewell.

I’m not going to elaborate on each branch like I did in the video, but all you have to know is this:

Archewell Inc. is the global “empire” that is a nonprofit organization. Archewell Inc. and Archewell Foundaiton are essentially the same thing. The 2 main subsidiaries are Archewell Audio and Archewell Productions.

Here’s the breakdown from the official Archewell website.

Do I think this a pyramid scheme? Yeah, but that’s my own personal opinion… don’t mind me.

So here’s the thing…

Spotify and Netflix are both putting out job offers from their own third party companies and it begs the question—if Spotify and Netflix are doing the work that one would assume ‘Archewell Productions’ is going to do, then what the hell is Archewell Productions doing?

Spotify hiring through Gimlet Projects

In January 2022, it came to light that Spotify is hiring people via Gimlet; a production development branch for the Archewell podcast. They posted 3 ads for 3 positions associated with Archewell podcast projects and covered pretty much all stages of production.

And here’s the job description:

Again… the Spotify deal was signed in December 2020 and they’re out here hiring people in January 2022. I’m sorry… Meghan & Harry aren’t hiring anyone… Gimlet Projects is.

A few questions…

  1. What is Archewell Productions doing if Gimlet Projects is doing the hiring?

  2. Why is it taking this long?

  3. Why are you now posting job descriptions for a project that should have been either in development by now or getting ready to launch to the public?

Of course, this isn’t happening with Spotify only, but Netflix as well.

Netflix and Netflix Animation

The drama first unfolded in July 2021 when Amelia Leddie, an artist recruiter at Netflix Animation published a post looking for applicants for some show that Meghan is producing for Netflix.

Her post says, “Calling for applicants! We are looking for an experienced Art Director for Pearl, a CG heartfelt adventure comedy series. Pearl comes from the mind of Meghan Markle, and centers on adventures of a 12-year-old girl who finds inspiration in a variety of influential women throughout history.”

That was July 2021…

And the official job posting is also posted on the Netflix animation page.

Let’s fast forward to January 2022… SIX MONTHS LATER.

They are now looking for a Production Designer for that SAME PROJECT.

Here’s the job description and posting on Netflix Animation:

Not only are people confused as to what Archewell Productions is doing, but now we have other questions.

  1. Why is it taking this long?

  2. Are people walking off the project?

  3. What are Meghan and Harry doing?

The truth is…

I don’t buy into the whole motto and mission statement of Archewell.

I don’t think that there is any other bigger purpose to Archewell.

I don’t believe that Meghan and Harry are hell bent on helping the general public like they so desperately try to convince us every chance they open their mouths.

I don’t believe any of it.

Harry was brought up on public appearances, charity, always working with the public considering royals are public servants, so I can see some sort of genuineness to him, but I see Meghan as I see any other Hollywood actress.

It’s always been about making a name for HERSELF and it’s a bonus that Harry was always rumored to want to retire and do charity behind the scenes without getting public applause for it. Why? He’ll just go along with it because in his head, he’s doing what he thinks is his life’s purpose and he’s doing it on “his terms” and not his family’s.

Plus, he’s getting millions for it. It also helps that he’s not in the shadow of his brother, Prince William. He’s doing his “own” thing when in reality Meghan is running the show and Harry is just there like derrrrrp.

Also Meghan’s overly woke act is nauseating. Like, have any of you heard her speak? It sounds like a bunch of BS. Repetitive and regurgitated BS.

Girl just say you wanna make money and go. Jumping on sensitive topics and acting like you give a shit isn’t doing anyone any justice. There is no sort of genuine behavior that I see from her.

I look at Archewell Inc. the same way I look at celebrity beauty brands. A cashout.

No your favorite celebrity actually doesn’t give a fck what their brand stands for, what they are trying to accomplish by it—nothing. They want money. It’s an empire.

It’s like the Kardashians but at least the Kardashians don’t hide behind the image that they’re fake activists. That’s also why they are so successful. You don’t have to get through 94 layers of fake woke BS to get to the core of the project.

Also, Archewell brought in less than $50,000 in their first financial year so… yikes.

If Meghan and Harry actually gave a shit about their project and the mission statement of Archewell, content would have BEEN produced. Archewell Productions would have been working. They wouldn’t be scouring the streets looking for people to hire to give them IDEAS considering they have none. They just want a woke idea to piggyback off and it’s annoying because it’s so obvious they want to profit off a situation as opposed to helping the so-called grEaTeR goOd.

Anyways… yeah. They’re full of sh!t and they’ve always been full of sh!t.

Check out my new video on them because I go into more detail there about this whole thing. I especially mention Ben Browning, a Hollywood producer that is the head of content at Archewell Productions but also won the rights to a Princess Diana conspiracy movie in 2013… one that is rumored to be about the royal family allegedly killing her for wanting to get engaged to Dodi Fayed, an Egyptian Muslim.

According to the rumors, the Queen allegedly said there will be no Muslim in the royal family 😤 and now sweet Harry has this man hired as the head of his production company. So yeah… do with that information what you will.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a good scandalous story but it’s just interesting how Ben Browning now works for Meghan and Harry. Will the conspiracy documentary on Diana be released with both Meghan & Harry on board? Will that be the final nail that Harry puts in the royal family while Meghan hammers it in? It sure is something to talk about.

In conclusion… it’s always been about money and power. It always is.
