Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck got back together after more than a decade after breaking up, which gave people the idea that true love wins in the end…. that whatever was meant for you, will come to you, but JLO & Ben aren’t your average modern-day fairy tale.
Blogmas Update
Before we begin, I want to say thank you guys for remaining patient with us until we got this post up a few days later. JLO & Ben began dating in 2002 and got engaged that year. They postponed their wedding in September 2003 and officially split in January 2004.

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer broke up after he cheated on her with “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy. After the cheating scandal went viral on social media, both Alex & Jennifer were still seen together… giving the idea that everything was fine and the news of the cheating was false.

A source of mine told me that “Jennifer wanted to fall down with grace. It killed her that he cheated on her with someone who is nowhere near her level… it seemed like she was more insulted that he cheated on her with a D lister rather than the fact that he cheated at all.”
At the time, all inside circles were saying that with this relationship with ARod going up in flames, it only meant 1 thing… Jennifer was going to call Ben.
I kid you not, I remember a source telling me “mark my words, there will be a JLO & Ben reunion” because 1. that would be her rebound and 2. nostalgia sells.
A little side note on ARod & JLO’s breakup: it wasn’t just because of Madison and whether or not he cheated. Their relationship was going downhill for several reasons including A-Rod’s financial habits. And showering Jen with gifts is important as we will later learn in this post. Jennifer didn’t like how the cheating with a D lister got media attention.

Just before Jenifer, Ben was dating his costar at the time, Ana de Armas.

Ben & Ana were 100% a fake relationship. They … more specifically Ana, were one of the thirstier celebs during the pandemic & lockdown, and not even that could stop her from getting her pap shots.

Everyone in the industry knew Ben & Ana were in a fake relationship which I found quite funny since they didn’t even try to hide it. They were only together for 10 months and their pandemic walks were giving Shawmila.
Also, they were only together for their movie which I watched… it was kinda stupid.
I remember speaking to an editor for a very well-known media publication and they used Ben & Ana’s pandemic strolls as a meter for judging how fake & thirsty a relationship is.

SO what’s the deal with Ben & Jennifer? It’s a simple answer.
It was the convenient choice that 1. made sense & 2. would bring in the results they wanted.
MODERN-DAY DYNAMIC
One thing you have to know about their dynamic is that even though it is real in some aspects, it’s orchestrated in others and fueled by Jennifer’s obsession with attention.

She is always giving information to the press and she paints the story that she wants out there.
For example, she claimed that Bennifer reconnected when she received an email from Ben, after he provided a quote to InStyle about her. He told her that he provided “a rave” and they continued talking, then ultimately started visiting each other at home.

I’ve heard from QUITE a few people that it was Jennifer who initiated the reunion. She does this thing that most women do with men and that’s they make the guy think THEY are in control, THEY initiated everything, when in reality that is just not true. My hot girlies know what I’m talking about.
Let’s talk about paparazzi which is a topic that annoys me when it comes to celebrities because the ones that swear they’re annoyed by the paps, are the ones calling the paps.
Now Jennifer is ALWAYS calling the paps, but gets annoyed with them.

Meanwhile, Ben looks like he wants to die…
JLO also runs and controls the shit out of him.
Back in the day, Ben was a big playboy (which I’m going to get into). He was not the guy you’re gonna settle down with, he was boozing it up and probably doing all sorts of drugs, but the only person he was really willing to change for was… Jennifer.
It didn’t last long but the only person who really got him to change for a hot minute, was her.

He was HEAD OVER HEELS for her when they first got together in the early 2000s. One source tells me that he reportedly almost went bankrupt trying to keep her with all the gifts and chasing he was doing…
At the time when he was chasing her, she was dating P Diddy aka Sean Combs who was a hell of a lot richer than Ben at the time. So he was showering Jennifer with this extremely lavish lifestyle and there was a bar that Ben had to reach or else Jennifer wasn’t gonna look in his direction.

A Young Playboy
In the 90s, Ben was one of the most famous young actors on the scene. He was your typical movie star who was an asshole.
Girls loved him and threw themselves on him because girls love the douche.
Despite being the douche, Ben has a “no minors rule.” Unlike many actors in a position of fame & success, age does indeed matter to Ben. But as soon as you turn 18, you’re a contender.
There were a lot of rumors of Ben & Britney Spears hooking up back in the day … I don’t know how far that fling went, but I know that he waited until she was 18 to even think about making a move.
So yeah, anyone who has slept with Ben has been 18 and up… and there have been a lot of 18-year-olds.
Young or not, Ben is a huge cheater. He cheated on his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner with their nanny and probably other women as well.

Back to Ben being a huge cheater, that’s one thing that has remained consistent about him according to my sources. He also doesn’t mind covering for you and pretending he’s with you if you’re out cheating on your spouse.
Who says he can’t be loyal in some way?!
Ben worked with Harvey Weinstein a lot and he was one of the many people to denounce Harvey in 2017 when he got exposed… but just like Olivia Wilde, Ben was well aware of what Harvey was doing behind the scenes.
So he wasn’t that “shocked.”
Ben himself has reportedly given girls that he slept with, a bump on roles.
During his playboy era, he was sleeping with girls left and right, treating them badly, cheating on them, and sometimes even sleeping with multiple girls in one day.
A BIG EGO
A lot of people call Jennifer a narcissist and that is probably true to some extent. She fits the criteria and she cares more about what Jennifer thinks and does than what anyone else does.
People were turned off by her behavior when there were reports that she didn’t want to share the spotlight with Shakira at the Super Bowl and that’s 100% true.

She literally said, “This is the worst idea in the world to have two people do the Super Bowl” because she was frustrated with having to cut her set short in order to split time with Shakira.
Jennifer is well known as a diva with demands. She thinks she’s more important than she actually is and she is EXTREMELY attention-seeking.
