Demi walking throughout the video and observing her surroundings is similar to her music video “La La Land” from her debut era, “Don’t Forget.” La La Land was basically showing how fake the industry is while this song is reminiscing on changing moments in Demi’s life.

2. Her “Confident” Era
Demi had an entire era circled around her confidence in which everyone thought “she finally combatted her inner demons,” but the tea is, she didn’t. And what I love about Demi is that she shows that it’s okay to not always be on your “peak” in life.
Feeling confident once doesn’t mean all your problems have disappeared.
3. Her Breakthrough on Disney with the Jonas Brothers in Camp Rock
The Jonas Brothers and Camp Rock were a huge part of Demi’s debut into the indsutry. In the video, she looks back at this moment in time with happiness and joy.

Here we see Demi in the middle between her “inner demon” with the bad thoughts vs. her “angelic side” that is trying to remain positive, calm, and collected.
Then… the balance get lost and you see the bad thoughts trying to take over.

Listen, I love the Jonas Brothers as much as the next person. However, she was unfairly treated by them at the end of the day. She didn’t have to bring Nick with her on tour and still interact with Joe who saw the emotional abuse Wilmer put her through, but here we are.
She still has the respect to simply walk past them and give a smirk.

I hate this guy and I hated this relationship.
