Michael Jackson Square One Documentary: Information the Media Doesn't Wanna Show You

Today I am going to be reviewing the Square One Documentary centered about how Michael Jackson was wronged by the media and they bring up new eyewitnesses that expose things that are worth knowing. This documentary digs deep down into facts of the story that the public doesn’t even know.

15 years ago on this day, June 13, was the day that Michael was acquitted of all charges in court. MJ fans call it “Victory Day!” So in honor of that day, here’s a review of the amazing Square One documentary which exposes key details that the media will never tell you!

If you haven’t read the first two posts of my Michael Jackson series, I suggest you do so you can get a full understanding of these posts.

In the first part of this series, we discussed Michael’s upbringing, career, and lifestyle. In the second part of the series, we break apart the entire 1993 allegations case with Michael and the Chandlers.

So without further ado, these are the key details exposed in the documentary which will be linked down below!

“Jordan Chandler in 2001”

Older Jordan Chandler.

Older Jordan Chandler.

Yup, I too shivered.

Josephine Zohny is a New York publicist and is the opening person in the documentary. She went to NYU (New York University) to study music business and part of the reason she was majoring in music business was because of her interest in Michael.

Not only was she a fan of Michael’s talents, but she was also a fan of Michael’s business deals. Heading on to NYU she had a large knowledge of all things business.

“Our first week of classes we had this program meeting we would do… everybody in our major would come and discuss things that were happening in the industry… it was a time to come together and really assess the landscape of the music business..” -Josephine Zohny

What she’s saying is that at NYU, they had a program for everyone majoring in music business. It was a program that occurred weekly and they had various people from the music industry come and speak.

“At the very first program meeting, I was introducing to myself to the group… I don’t remember why I was introducing myself but I was wearing a Jackson’s Victory tour T-shirt… and a young man came up to me and told me that he liked my shirt and that young man turned out to be Jordan Chandler.” -Josephine Zohny

For those of you who don’t know or didn’t read part 2, Jordan Chandler was Michael’s first accuser.

Jordan literally came up to her and complimented her shirt that had the Jackson 5 on them. It seems like he had no harsh feelings about Micheal after all which is very suspicious considering everything he was ‘publicly’ accusing Michael of. It gets crazier.

Josephine also talks about how she didn’t know who he was after their first few encounters. His name sounded familiar but she didn’t know why. At the time, social media wasn’t that big and minors were protected in these types of cases.

She said when she finally found out who he was, she kept him at a distance. Not like I blame her.

“The people in the program that he did surround himself with, were all Michael Jackson fans.” -Josephine

Josephine also says that she was told by his friends that at parties he would play Michael’s music and dance like him. Jordan’s apartment was like a shrine dedicated to Michael. There were a lot of different fan memorabilia.

Someone who emailed Danny Wu talking about how Jordan played and danced to Michael’s music.

That same person was not comfortable being on camera talking about this situation.

A lot of people are uncomfortable coming out with information that defends Michael because of the higher power behind Leaving Neverland. You don’t wanna risk your future by coming out and showing your face and looking at the higher power and saying, “no, you’re a liar.” So many people just stay quiet. However, there are many who don’t as you can see in this post.

You have to understand the people funding Leaving Neverland are as big as Oprah Winfrey,

“Jordan Chandler felt used by his parents.”

Josephine said that since they were college kids, often times discussion would be about parents. She said that Jordan said that he felt very used by his parents and he wasn’t close to them.

“He did say multiple times that he was not close to his family and felt that he was used by them.”

Jordan Chandler said “Michael Jackson wasn’t capable of the things he was being accused of.”

Now this one took me off guard when I watched the documentary.

Josephine said that when the 2005 Martin Bashir documentary came out, it brought up the topic of “Is Michael Jackson a pedophile?” She says that while they were all sitting in a group discussion, Jordan unprovoked said that Michael Jackson wasn’t capable of the things he was being accused of.

No one asked for his opinion, they weren’t going around in a circle taking turns to talk, he mentioned it all by himself. He wasn’t even in on the discussion, he was just sitting next to Josephine and a few other people arguing about this topic.

Think about it, it probably kills Jordan on the inside to not come out and clear Michael’s name. Jordan was used by his greedy father who took away all good things that came out of being Michael’s friend. So of course in order to maintain his sanity, he would chime in and give a little bit of that honesty that he couldn’t give in 1993.

If Michael Jackson’s first accuser is gonna say Michael wasn’t capable of harming children why do we even need to continue this? Might as well just end it here. But no, there are so many facts and proof that come from very CREDIBLE people who have also come out and said none of these allegations are true.

“Throughout the semester there were different occasions like that where he would again reaffirm things that I said in defense of Michael JacksonI have a really hard time believing that if he had been molested by Michael Jackson, he would be going out of his way to say he didn’t think he was capable of these things.” -Josephine Zohny.

Charles Thomson

Another thing that stood out in the documentary was when Danny Wu (creator of Square One documentary) interviewed Charles Thomson, who won six national awards for his investigative work and exposing the Shoebury pedophile ring.

Charles said the main differences between the pedophile cases he sat on and the Michael Jackson case was the motive of seeking millions of dollars, and victims were credible and consistent. Besides the lack of proof in the MJ cases, the victims have also never been consistent as we saw in part 2 of this series.

“The victims against Michael Jackson have never been consistent, they’ve always turned out to be perjurers and people who were just looking for a payout.” - Charles Thomson.

Charles has also studied the Michael Jackson FBI files and he said no child porn has EVER been discovered at Neverland.

“So that is not something that just fans say {about no child porn being discovered at NL} that’s the judge in the trail and even the prosecutor said that there was no child porn.” Charles Thomson.

These FBI files also show that MORE than 20 different FBI departments investigated Michael for over the course of 10 years and haven’t found one piece of sustainable evidence that proves him guilty.

Danny Wu also brought up the fact that many established and credible psychiatrists and psychologists in the country have said that Michael’s behavior didn’t echo amongst actual pedophiles.

Which basically means that for everyone saying, “isn’t it weird for a grown man to be…” it’s actually proven by people who study behaviors and actions of others, that Michael hasn’t behaved in anyway that could be linked to how a pedophile behaves.

Dieter Speck, Psychologist

Dieter Speck is a psychologist who explained on his show that Michael didn’t harm anyone he was around and that his care for children was because of his childhood.

This photo down below with Michael and his 3 nephews, caused controversy between the community that believes Michael was a pedophile.

What people don’t understand about this photo is that the one next to Michael is Taj who has said that this photo was meant for a single cover called “Why.”

Michael and Taj.

Michael and Taj.

Taj is part of the band called 3T that consists on him and his brothers (pictured above). They decided to shoot a cover with Michael for the song. When tabloids started using them as “proof” of child porn, Taj and his crew sued them.

“You know we sued one of the tabloids that said they were child pornography and we had them retract that because that’s not what they were, they were for an album.” -Taj Jackson.

For the single cover shoot, everyone had the option to do whatever they wanted to do because the band 3T wanted to be edgy they decided to shoot it that way. Taj literally said that they were trying to have a “sexy” and “edgy” image and so Michael was just following along with what they wanted.

Jenny Winings, 2005 Trial Witness

She posted this photo on Twitter saying “You were too good for this world.”

Jenny was invited to come to Neverland with some of her friends and said that Michael gave them a tour around the entire place. When they were shocked by how beautiful it was, Michael was surprised and said “you’ve never been here before?”

“If he saw fans outside he would tell Violet who was security to let us in and he would let us do whatever.” -Jenny Winings.

That is a very sweet thing that Michael would do, but it also shows how easily he was willing to let people come into his life. If you easily let people come into your life, you also easily trust them and people who seem easily fooled by others are often victims of their greed. That is 100% how I would describe the situation with Michael.

He was the most famous pop star on the planet who willingly let his guard down often and obviously greedy people are going to use that to their advantage to extort him.

Macaulay Culkin

For those of you who don’t know, Michael and Macaulay Culkin were actually VERY close.

He hung out with him often and was in his music video, “Black or White.”

Macaulay has always defended Michael against the allegations even as he’s gotten older. He spent so much time with him while he was younger and I feel like he’s one of the few kids that had their own status when hanging around Michael, so there was no reason to extort a fellow other star.

Macaulay said he didn’t have friends growing up in Catholic school and Michael was the only one who understood him and wanted to make sure he didn’t feel alone.

He described Michael as “funny, hilarious, sweet, gentle, and generous.”

Here is a photo of them in 2001 after years of friendship.

190116132743-03-macaulay-culkin-michael-jackson-file-restricted-use-super-tease.jpg

Macaulay Culkin did an exclusive interview on Larry King where he explains the issue with the statement “sleeping in Michael Jackson’s bedroom.”

“I don’t think you understand Michael Jackson’s bedroom is two-stories, and he had like three bathrooms and that when I slept at his bedroom yeah you have to understand the whole scenario. And the thing with Michael is that he’s not very good at explaining himself and he never really has been.” -Macaulay Culkin

Michael’s bedroom was a goddam house of its own. The first thing you see when you enter wasn’t a room but more of a living space with bathrooms and a kitchen. The bed was upstairs so in reality, it seemed more like you were staying at his house rather than his room because it wasn’t built like a typical room.

Anyways I hope you guys enjoyed this review and I hope it gave you a little bit more insight into the details of the case.
